Hi Maxine - it's not an organized romp, but some of us are trying to get together tomorrow to either go to a dog park in Smyrna or take our dogs for a walk on the silver comet trail (if the park is too muddy). Look under the discussion entry "Dog Park" for more info.

I'm not sure what kind of doodle Callie is, but she can leap with the best of them! The guy came in too small a truck to take my old sofa, so now my living room looks like a used furniture salesroom...Callie is in heaven, and has been leaping from sofa to sofa. Callie tried to leap in the delivery guy's truck, and then took it upon herself to join a neighbor on his walk. She was a busy little doodle today!

What is it with leaping, our labradoodle does it best. Last week my friend had to pick the kids up a the kennel and Misty tried to leap into her car, the tailgate window was not opened and she tried to leap into the car, hit the window and it knocked her for a loop. She also loves to leap into the bed in the mornings after her potty it drives my husband crazy when he is still sleeping. Cooper, our goldendoodle couldn't leap if he tried, we have to pick him up to even get him in the SUV. LOL.

Yep - tired is the way to go! I have my "interim" sofa being delivered tomorrow...hopefully this one is tough enough to withstand Callie's feet! (the current sofa have about six good tears in it from Callie making flying leaps onto it, but to be fair, it was an older sofa). Tired doodles don't make flying leaps onto anything :)

haha. I'm all about wearing these doods out! I will let you know later in the week. Hopefully it won't be so stinkin cold!

Hey Judi - it's not that far...just up 85n. You know me...anything to wear Callie's furry little butt out and keep her from getting into trouble!

Callie, Timbow and Harlow (along with Baxter & Sherlock) had a great play date today. While we were there we met a young GD named Henry. His parents had not heard of DK. They probably thought we were a little over the top the way we all talked about the site. Frannie told me after we left another young doodle named Zelda came to the park. Hopefully we will have 2 more doods join the DK family & Atlanta Area group.
