For those planning on coming to Doodlefest 2010... There is a music festival this weekend and park officials have instructed us to use the Peeler Road entrance (back entrance) to access dog park.

WHERE ARE THE ATLANTA AREA DOODLES????
Hey guys - we've planned an AWESOME romp for this coming Sunday and have received only a few RSVPs. Very curious to know what's going on with that. It's going to be a gorgeous day, we picked a central (for Atlanta) dog park, have some AMAZING raffle prizes, goodies to give away, etc.

Speak up! I bet your doodles would love to romp!

I know he does group classes, they are 6 weeks long I think. Good luck. who is her vet, Dr. Peter Muller is a friend of ours.

Thanks, Diana. I was inquiring for my daughter, who has an 11-week-old puppy and goes to school at Emory. Her vet is at Briarcliff, so that would be convenient. I think that she spoke with Richard, but he recommended private, clicker-training, which didn't interest her. Does he teach group lessons, too?

We did puppy classes with Richard at Briarcliff Animal hospital. He used a curriculum recommended by Carol Dean our breeder. Great gentle reinforcement, very natural learning for the puppies. This set us off on a great start. Call Briarcliff and tell Richard Diana sent you. They do the training across the street in a parking lot that is fenced in.

Can someone please recommend a trainer near Emory University who teaches puppy kindergarten classes and group lessons for owners and their puppies? Thanks!

Oops, not going to make to the park today. I woke up to the sound one of my beagles coughing. I think best to stick at home today. Even though everyone is UTD on vacs his cough sounds like possible kennel cough. :(

That sounds good. I thought I would take the DRC brochure with me to Petsmart, Petco and a couple other pet supply stores, chat with the managers and see if they would donate some stuff. I thought I might do the same at the 2 self serve dog washes up this way.
