Love the name you chose, Sue. We had a Springer named Lily so I am very partial. When we got our lab mix (who turned out to be male) one of his middle names was Ruby - I really wanted a Ruby so.....
As for me sex would be way down below coat type simply because Ned's is soooooo high maintenance.
Sue, Love the name!
Sue, how exciting! I thought I wanted a female but the puppy that stole my heart was a little boy. I had second thoughts at the time but not once since. He's 2 now and has never humped or marked anything. It's just like Sally said. He's my loyal shadow, my momma's boy, my running partner, and a 24/7 cuddle bug.
My ALD Sheila is a mini ALD. Everywhere I take her, she is admired. It is amazing to me when I see pics like Sue's of litters that I can really tell now that it is an ALD. Their faces and bodies are so recognizable. Thanks to you breeders who are really trying to breed healthy, gorgeous, WONDERFUL pets. Sheila now has her full ALD personality. She follows me: if I want her to be calm on the bed, she will be calm. If I want to play, she always wants to play. She still has kept her puppiness in that she always has a toy in her mouth ASKING to play, but if I say no, there is no hyperness involved. I love this breed. I would love to get another but hubby says NO. We travel alot and cannot always take her. Have you ever used or heard of Rover.com?
Multigenerational Labradoodles breeders can be found here
Not sure if you are looking, or have purchased already, but I used this site to help select my breeder: http://www.ilainc.com/guest/MemberBreederlist.aspx. They list two breeders in Wisconsin. None of them are from Colgate though.
Hi All-
Happy to join the ALD group! Did anyone purchase a pup from a breeder in Colgate, Wisconsin?
