Hi Patty I didn't realize you are a breeder...lots of doodles then. We have a spray bottle with vinegar for the cat so we'll adapt it for Sage. Scruffing doesn't seem to work..so we'll see about that and the pinch. She started puppy preschool last week and I have to say she was the best behaved of a rowdy bunch! Puppies are funny but wear you out. My husband and I were wiped after the puppy class lol. PS I guess "zoomies" is a pretty common term. I googled it and found a lot of entries re zooming puppies. Do doodles ever grow out of that?

Love the term "zoomies." I have a number of ALDs, the oldest is seven and the youngest is five months. They are such great dogs! Biting, however normal, can be a nuisance. To curb the behavior, we use a spraybottle containing 10 parts water & 1 part white vinegar. If the behavior continues, press your thumb down on Sage's tongue while pressing your index fdinger up under her chin. A good hard pinch tends to send them the "no bite" message. Good luck

Hi Patty,
Kendra indeed breeds beautiful puppies. Sage is a sweetie. How old is your doodle and what is her/his name? We are struggling through puppydom here...she is biting everything in sight and we are working to keep up with it. That and the zoomies! What a riot that is.

Welcome Trowby and Doodle Family. I am delighted you joined this happy new group. Your puppy is precious--but I would expect it to be considering it was bred by Kendra at Noble Vestle Labradoodles. Kendra breeds wonderful puppies. If you know other Australian Labradoodle owners, please invite them to come on board. Best wishes to you.

Welcome Australian Labradoodle friends. Let's join together and celebrate this loving breed. What influenced your decision to purchase an Australian Labradoodle?
