Gretje is now 17 months old at 56 lbs.  She has white hair in her coat which I had thought came from her daddy, a white golden retriever.

welcome Meghan!  I just love the phantom color.  Our Cubbie is just plain old regular black  lol

New to this group, too.   Buster is 8 months old.  He is black, but the Phantom is starting to come out on his ears.  NNoooo!

Finnegan is cute.  I let mine air dry for a little bit and then finish them up with my dryer.  The only time they get to air dry 100% is when it is nice and warm outside and we can go for a long walk in the sun.  Other than that, they just take too long to get all the way dry without the help of the dryer.

he is just beautiful and has some growing to do. I have almost given up on blow drying my Malibu out. She is in the pool almost hourly and I'm afraid she's going to get moldy with how damp she is!  They have the same type of looking coat.

New to your group, I'm posting a picture of my Finnegan now 5 months old. This is after I gave him his first home bath. Groomer always blows him into a puff ball, so I decided to try myself. I just patiently dried and dried, working into the fur with my fingers.
Now I have to work on cleaning his head (I know to avoid ears and eyes).

Double the fun! Mine was reluctant too, but now he's eating those words. The 2 girls have him wrapped around their furry paws!
