I agree! It's hard to get good pictures in general, but Angus' coat is black with some red highlights on his face :)

I find it's hard to capture exactly how beautiful and luxurious the black goldendoodle coat is.  It's truly more beautiful in-person.

TO OLLIE's MOM -- I got your question, but the way it was sent out I couldn't respond.  With regard to Ollie's weight, if you happen to know his 4 month (16 weeks) weight you can get an idea of his size.  You double the 4 month weight and add up to 10 lbs and that will give you a ballpark.  I'm going to guess if he is 28 now, then is was maybe 25 +/- at 16 weeks.  That would put him in the 50-60 lb range.  That is the thing about doodles, you can never be absolutely sure what you will get with regard to coat and size.  The better the breeder and the longer their program, the better they know their dogs and can give you an idea, but it's never 100%.  As for the disposition, he is still very much a puppy and still very much in the teething stage so the nipping is to be expected.  I would encourage the 8 to 10 years olds not to play rough and run.  This just excites him and makes it worse.  Always have a toy handy to redirect him if he is nipping.  I also wouldn't allow them to play tug with him as this can encourage aggression.  In the future when you want to post you can either go into the group and right above this comment section you will see add a discussion.  Click that and title your discussion and and ask your question.  All members of the group will get notified that there is a new discussion.  Or if it is a generic topic you can start a Discussion on the main page as well.
