We all have gorgeous doodles with wonderful personalities that I'm sure they get from their dad Cherokee. I think it will be so fun to see how similar our doodles look alike.

Has anyone noticed their red doodle fading on the back? Timbow's hair has a part down the middle of his back and I've been noticing that it is starting to get lighter. He is still very red, but seems…Continue

Just wondering who the mothers are to everyone's pups! Ours came from Eva. Also thought it would be neat to post current ages and weights. Holly is 6 months and almost 30 lbs. I thinks she's the…Continue

Astro has no digestive issues at all...might tell that by looking how BIG he is. He has never had loose stool. He had one or two barfs in the very first days of coming home but we feed him with a slow feed bowl, which turns a three second meal into about a two minute meal. We initially feed him TOTW (Bison/Vension) and about three weeks ago changed him over to Blue Buffalo (Lamb). He was a little gassey with the switch but that has subsided. The only edible treats he gets is a chicken Purina One bisket/bone for small dogs. Funny, I know.

Nope, Teri didn't buy him...He's officially not on her Dad's page anymore...

Wow, talk about convenient! Do you suppose Teri bought Cherokee? I hadn't realized that Cherokee was not hers to begin with...

Anyway, just out of curiosity...since Max, one of Cherokee's brood who lives down the street from me, and Angel (Cherokee's granddaughter) are having the same issue, I wondered if it was a genetic thing or local: Anyway, both are having digestive issues that are puzzling us.

Anyone else have digestive issues (i.e. prolonged diarrhea...)

I totally agree with you. I am in no position to get another dog and I would have been very tempted to get another Tula/Cherokee pup from next year's litter. Teri told me that she is probably going to have a littler of mini's with Tula this coming Spring so that makes my decision very easy. Love Tula's pups, but there is just something about those Cherokee babies. What a "stud"! :0)

I think she sold him! I noticed about a month ago that almost all of her breeding stock was for sale and emailed Teri to find out what was going on. She wasn't sure, but I noticed a few weeks after that Cherokee wasn't on her (bonnie's) site anymore. I don't know if she sold him to another breeder or if someone bought him as a pet. I won't lie..I was very tempted to buy him as a pet, but would rather see a good breeder get him...he makes the most beautiful puppies ever! :)

Curiosity is getting me. Where did Cherokee go? Did Bonnie sell him? Or retire him or ?

Betsy, I hope Cimmy feels better soon too. She is such a beautiful girl. Gus and Molly have an invisible fence also, it makes life much easier for us humans! Dirk's progress sounds miraculous, though I'm sure you're busier than you'd like to be...it is so wonderful that he has been able to come home. I think about you a lot, and wish you, Dirk and the kids a very happy Thanksgiving!

Should have mentioned our baby! Cimmy is being groomed today. I keep thinking I need to take her out to go to the bathroom. We had an Invisable Fence donated to us so she is being trained to that right now. We have had so much rain, I have not been happy about walking her. She has been on a shock collar for awhile, so I haven't had to walk out in the marshy yard with her. She seems to be getting her adult coat. I am finding clumps of hair in the corners. She is just so fluffy!. I had to change her to adult food. She is only 52 lbs. quite the shrimp compared to all of yours. Only 7 months old, but I just can't imagine her getting much bigger. The vet doesn't want her to get much heavier for her current height. She has an infection.~ UTI . Lots of blood in her urine. Doing better. Though no explaination as to why. Hope all is well with you all.
