Cincinnati Doodles

I thought a Cincinnati, Ohio-specific group would be good in order to help plan local romps and other get-togethers!

Ann -- the place isn't all that big. We will be able to find each other pretty easy I think. Because it is indoors it isn't like trying to find someone at a dog park.

We will miss you Melissa .... If I remember correctly Samson was the life of the party last year.

I just found the Cincinnati group! What a great idea! I had planned to come to the romp tomorrow, but now have to go out of town. We had such a good time meeting the other doodles last year. Have a terrific time! We should plan more play dates or romps. Maybe just informal gatherings at the dog park. I had to add a day care and kennel in Blue Ash called Dog Gone Place. Samson and Shelby have been going to day care their once a week over the winter. There are usually at least 5 doodles there and many other dogs. I haven't had to kennel mine yet, but if I do it will be there. Mine are groomed at Pet Suites in Sharonville. Have fun tomorrow! I'll miss seeing everyone!

We should all try to meet up in a certain area at a certain time to say hello!

I had suggested to the Romp organizers that it might be a way to earn some extra money if they could get a Doodle Groomer to volunteer to be available to give tips and let us ask questions. I'd pay a little extra to be able to ask some specific grooming questions, but last I heard, I don't think they had been able to find anyone to volunteer.

Shanthala -- Look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow and seeing how much Berry has grown and if Berry and Darby still look as much alike as last year!

Shanthala -- Are you going to the Romp on Saturday?

Gina -- The facility where the Romp is on Saturday is a boarding facility and I believe groomer as well. I have not personally used them, but they are allowing the IDOG folks to hold a Doodle Romp as a rescue fundraiser, so they can't be all bad!

Hi Barbara, Welcome to Loveland!!! I live in Loveland too. It is a great place. I second Camp Bow Wow. It is really good that the dogs who board there will be let to play with the day care dogs during the day...And they do have webcam. And I take mine to Seven hills pet clinic in Milford. There are 2 vets but i like Dr. Dryer better.

Hi Barbara, so sorry we won't get to meet you this time. We recently boarded Finn and had a great experience. I am not in loveland but not too far. We boarded Finn at Pet Suites in Sharonville (right off 275 at Sharonville /Mason exit-maybe #47?) and had a great experience. We added an hour of play with other (screened and approved) dogs each day . I really liked their drop off and pick up hours and was overall very happy. I also know of other doodle owners who use Camp BowWow in Blue Ash where the dogs play free for the majority of the day and are individually kenneled for nights and quiet time as needed. Both have websites. I personally am really happy with a groomer in Montgomery and a vet in Sharonville area-who I LOVE. Would be happy to share the info if you like. Best of luck with the move!!
