Here's a pic of Nug on the dock last summer. We have to put her in a life jacket tied with a 20 foot line so that she won't swim across the lake without us!

Wow - look at Nugget go! He could be one of those dock dog competitors! To post the pictures I clicked on the camera icon on the top of the text box, clicked browse and uploaded the pictures off my computer. Looking forward to seeing them here.

OK...I just added three photos to my page of Nugget swimming at camp last summer....but I'm so lame that I don't know how to add them to this post? Can someone please advise? BruceGirl, how did you get your photos from the weekend to your post this AM?

Thanks a lot!

We are heading up Sat-Mon. Gavin spent his first week with us at the cottage in October, just before close up. He was ten weeks old then. He loved it though. I too can't wait to see if he "remembers." Really looking forward to hearing how the fence goes for you Diana. I spent some time as a teen/young adult on Lake Erie at Rondeau Park and Erieau. Great memories!

Diana-

I am VERY jealous!!! Our lake home won't see us until early May....the dirt road will be completely mud and inaccessible by car right now. (That's why we "Adirondackers" call this "mud season" I wish we lived as close to ours as you do to yours! We have a 5 hour trip to ours.....ugh. Can't wait to get there to open-up, though!!

Have a wonderful weekend. I bet Molly will remember everything! Nugget always goes to all of her favorite "stuff hiding places" and digs up all this stuff that she put away the season before for safe-keeping.

Off to our summer home this weekend. It is located only 1/2 hr from homebase so it makes living there all summer a breeze.ha.ha. Molly was only a wee pup last summer so it will be interesting to see if she stays on the property or roams around. Have purchased a petsafe wireless fence just in case. Our house is located on 5 acres of Lake Erie property, with loads of beach to run and swim at.This weekend is opening the cottage and doing a bit of outdoor cleaning if the weather stays spring like. Can't wait.

Thanks for joining us Nugget's Family. That was an awesome post. Great information regarding ear care - especially using the blow dryer. Looking forward to your pictures. You can post them in the "Do you have a cottage doodle" discussion above. I just can't wait to open our place (likely 6 weeks from now) so Gavin and us can start enjoying cottage life again! P.S. "cottage and camp" are interchangeable terms in my books - in the region where we are it is a cottage, but move further north and it is a camp.
