My doodles don't eat it, but one of my rescues did. . ..try bananas!!!!! Hoot always wanted bananas when I was fixing my cereal and I would give him a piece, but then I saw on the Dog Whisperer an episode dealing with the issue, that dog also loved bananas. . .determined that the dog was potassium deficient. . .so, I started giving Hoot 2 bananas a day. ..he stopped eating poop and actually now, won't eat bananas anymore. . .i guess he really was deficient and now doesn't crave the bananas either.
She does eat her poop and twice now she has woken us up at night throwing up in her crate. that's how I found out she was eating it. That's what she threw up! She is 13 weeks. I would love to figure out how to stop this. We try to clean everything up ...but she gets it sometimes.
put some pineapple in her food, it will make the poop unattractive and she won't eat it anymore. One thing to consider though is 'why' is she eating it. Usually they eat it because they smell undigested food in it and are still hungry. It could be that she eats really fast and the food is being eliminated without being digested, or you might want to consider a different food
Not their own, but if there's a batch of freshly baked feline almond roca ... they're all over it! Thankfully we don't have cats so it's a RARE occurrence.
Beck ate deer poop once and got really sick, the only reason I knew what it was is that he vomited some of it up but wow, he was really feeling crummy for a few days
