I have had Max's head and feet and sanitary area trimmed before but not a full cut. Ticks are bad here right now, and his hair was about three inches long so it was hard to see if he had any. I wanted to get him trimmed but I didn't want him too short. I took him to a place here called Kids with Fur Doggy Day Spa and she did such a wonderful job. He's not too short and I think he looks great!

Oh and I meant to say she only charged me 55$ which is actually cheaper than petsmart and a way better job :D
Very Cute. What a handsome boy! That is a nice length.
Thanks Lori, I really like how she did it, and she tapered down his belly so it looks longer than it actually is.
Max looks just great!
Thanks Leslie, thanks Nancy, of course now he's already got mud all over him, he made it a whole 5 hours clean. :(
Aww. He does look dapper. I gave Yarrow her first haircut about 3 weeks ago. She was beginning to look like a llama!
Deb I agree, and the groomer was so nice. It's a cage free groomer, so the dogs that were there were just running around waiting for their turn or looking pretty lol.
Haha Deb I bet Yarrow as a llama would be cute though! I would have left Max long except it's so hard to look for ticks in that long hair. :(
That sounds like the most awesome groomer. I cut Yarrow's hair about 3 weeks ago. I still haven't found a pair of blending shears to finish the top of her tail and other little areas. I LOVE her mukluks and her giant paws so I've left her legs long and her ears. She's getting so big. I just measured her height at the hips to be 28"!
The right front leg still looks a bit funny because of the hair still growing back in from where it was shaved for her I.V. when she had her spay surgery.
She looks awesome Deb, I love how you've groomed her, and wow is she ever getting big!
That is another thing I liked that this groomer did, she left his paws nice and round and fluffy which I really like.
