I have the Andis 2-speed Pro clippers and a set of snap-on plastic combs.  I remember reading about metal combs and I am thinking these might be better investment.  I know that one day I am going to drop the plastic comb and break it.  I don't wan't to have to buy a whole new set just to replace the couple of combs I actually use.  Does anyone know where you can buy the metal combs seperately?  (I am in Canada by the way.)

When we were shopping at Ren's the girl who helped us was the groomer at the store.  She told us not to buy plastic combs, because they would eventually break.  She recommended the package of 8 metal combs by Wahl, which fit on the Andis clippers.  They were $34.99, which I didn't think was too bad.
Buy from Renspets in Burlington. I order over the phone as I don't like their website. You can ask for a catalogue and also for them to mail you flyers. I buy my blades when they are 2 for 1
I found a variety of metal combs at all the pet shops and major pet stores in my area...probably would be the same in Canada.
Thanks guys.  I already shop at Rens but don'tlive near there anymore - my husband goes in whewnever he is working down there.  Their website was only showing the plastic combs for Andis, so it is good to know that the Wahl ones fit the Andis clippers. I'll have to send DH in with a very detailed shopping list so he gets the right thing!!
