I love it! Our Murphy has adjusted to playing very carefully with our kitty. He seems to know that he needs to be careful. I think that we added our kitty to the family at just the right time because Murphy is still a puppy at 16 months but old enough to better understand playing with a very small kitty. Our kitty is just 3.5 months old.

Our Lucy (6 month old) has somewhat still a love/hate relationship with our Abyssinian cat. They still play fight a lot but a minute later they can sleep next to each other on the doggie bed. The cat can escape and rescue himself but he just hangs in there and lets Lucy play rough with him. We don't get it.

our doodle Obi really does love his kitty's. When we brought him home the cat, Shadow, was much bigger than he was, and she didnt seem to mind him, I think she believed he was just passing thru..ahhaha Now they are friends, but if he tries to pounce her she reminds him who is the alpha in this house..lol* We have a new kitten as well, and he and Obi play all the time and really seem to hit it off...although at first Picasso was rather intimidated by Obi and would run and hide...but now he waits for the chance to pounce the dog lol*

I would be lying if I told you Dinah is Jackdoodle's best friend, lol! She doesn't much care for him, and he tried for a long time to get her to play with him. Finally, he got a little too close to her while leaping to catch his ball, and he got a good swipe in the nose with her claws! Ouch! Now, when the ball lands near her, Jack will not go over to get it! However, they hang out together on my bed, and co-exist peacefully together....as long as the 82 lb doodle respects the 6 lb cat's space!

No, We have 3 cats and one kitten and our doodle Dusty's best friend is the new kittty! They are constantly together. I will need to take some pictures.

My 4 doodles Ripley, Shiloh, Oliver and Truman just love our Calico cat "Cali". I think Cali thinks she is a dog...she plays back with them quite roughly. I don't have a photo of them all together, but I'm going to try to post one of Cali with Oliver....I hope it works because I've never posted a photo in a comment box before.

We found the perfect kitty for our family. He is so active and silly all the time. Murphy just loves him. They eat, sleep and play together. Before they nap, Murphy makes sure that the kitty is completely clean. He is very motherly.

No, your doodle is not the only one! My two doodles love their kitties, too! My miniature goldendoodle, Oliver, is especially in love with cats. We recently rescued a cat that was not in love with dogs, and it literally made Oliver cry when she would reject him! Here is Oliver with one of his cats, Tula.
