Didn't you post about it a while back? I was trying to find that post to comment back to and to thank for pointing it out again. It's such a great deal - in fact, I'm redoing my "getting ready for puppy" email to send out to all of you and copied the information from their webpage into the email. thanks! Teri -- Oh, puppy photos of Monique's are coming today - meant to get them yesterday but had a little feeling of under the weather and spent a lot of time napping yesterday - probably didn't help that Kathy (our guardian mom and "mama" to Tula's and Chloe's litter this time - gave me a 1-1/2 hr massage - she's a masseuse and helps work out all the knots that the little puppies cause me bending over them!)

Craigslist is also a great place to get wire crates - just be sure they include the pan and divider and clean it thoroughly with bleach and soap.

Welcome to the group, Christine! For the minis, I recommend 36" life-stages style wire crate (the ones with the divider). Since she'll come to you in a pet approved hard plastic pet taxi, you will be able to utilitize that for the first few days if needed - she may need to sleep in it next to or on your bed for a few nights until she feels secure in her new environment away from her littermates. It's an easy way to keep her happy and let you get some sleep - and then use the wire crate for days working into the nights, as well. The 36" moves easily through door openings and can collapse for easy travel, as well. The pet taxi is great for the car. I'm updating our "getting ready for puppy" email and will send that out to everyone soon. These minis are the cutest, sweetest pups! And their parti markings are just gorgeous. Hi Teri, Do you have a recommended size for the crates? We you recommend getting a life stage or start with a puppy crate and then a small or medium?

Thanks for your information, Allyson. www.PetStreetMall.com has a great deal on the wire crates with dividers - you get a brush and some other stuff free when you order it, and it has free delivery. We get most of our crates, etc. from CraigsList.

For those of you awaiting one of Teri's pups, I found a great website for puppy gear - www.fetchdog.com - I bought Lady Peri's collar (for when she grows a little), leash and training bells from there. They have some really cute stuff - some of it is a little pricey, but you should also save 10% if you are a new customer. Check it out! Also, sure you know about this, but Drs. Foster and Smith have great crates and doggie beds. They are a little more high quality than some found in puppy stores and I think priced pretty well.
