Teri, congrats on the birth of Chloe's litter! The fun must have just begun for you! Looking forward to seeing the little one's as they grow..for all the litters.

Ohhh I see. Man I love Bernese Mountain dogs, I was actually going to buy one, but then I fell in love with the goldendoodles. (The bernese would cost a fortuneee to feed). Anyway, if you get any advice I would love to hear it. The only thing I know about training dogs is what 4-H taught me...and that was for older dogs not puppies...and it was also a bazillion years ago! haha.

I do hope you find a name though! But hey, there's nothing wrong with Cimmy, its pretty cute actually, plus you can't argue with a kid, they're always right!

Amanda, what a great idea with the forgeign languages. My grandparent always gave their poodle French names. Jolie, Toro, Argent (Sp?)...I will have to think about it, though I think I am stuck for now. Maybe we could have Cinnamon's Usko? LOL!

We don't live next door to a dog trainer. Our neighbors were on vacation in Florida for two weeks. The person who was dog sitting works 3 or 4 days a week, so the dog trainer came in to keep Riley the Bernese Mountain dog company. I went in several times two of the mornings and ended up in the ER with a sprained ankle. Their dog just isn't used to going more than 3 hours without being able to go outside. She is 3 yrs. old and would be just fine (or so the husband says) if she went 5 or 6 hours, but she isn't used to it. It is nice having contact with this woman. She told me not to hesitate to call her with any question. She is more than happy to give me free advice. - She knows that I won't be paying her to privately train my puppy!!! I am watcjhing that clock for you, too! Can't wait to hear that those babies have been born!

Betsy, I am very sorry to hear about your husband, but I am sure he is very happy to be with such a wonderful woman like yourself, and to have 3 lovely sounding children! I bet you are all so excited for your new puppy, I know I am!! I think Cimmy is an adorable name. I don't know if you're interested but I like foreign names, so I like to look up something like "hope" and see what it is in different language. For instance (this is a weird name but I'll use it as an example) Usko means faith in Finnish. So it makes a cute name without being obvious. But if your kids already have Cimmy picked out I guess there isn't much you can do.

Im very excited to hear that about Monique and Cooper though! I just cant wait until those little guys are born. I'm going to be checking out that time clock thing every day!! You are so lucky you live next to a dog trainer! How does that happen??

Hi Ladies! I have found two people who are just as obsessed and excited about their new babies as I am! Krista, those count down clock are ADORABLE!!! Teri, they would be terrific for your site.

I was talking with our next door neighbors' personal dog trainer the other day. I told her all about Teri. For a professional who is very cautious about finding good breeders, she was very impressed with, you, Teri, and with the abundance of information you have on your website and that you are willing to provide. I told her about the 4 litters due in April and she said this about the Monique and Cooper litter. They should be absolutely WONDERFUL! First of all, Monique is beautiful and I have told Teri that. Secondly, Pat, the trainer said that English Golden Retrievers are the best for many reasons, but one is that they have an ideal temperament. In her opinion, you will be getting wonderful puppies.

Thanks, Amanda for the info about the Poochie Bells. I looked them up. You're right; making one of your own would be much more economical. Our dogs always just told us by staring or barking at us that they had to go out. Hum... I will think about it.

Amanda, we received confirmation on the 18th, also, about Tula's litter. I had told Teri that it would be an early birthday present for me, also. Poor Teri! You were under a lot of pressure to provide the two of us with wonderful birthday presents. The news was good all around so it was great!!! Amanda, you also asked about names. Well, this has been a bit of a problem. Early on, my oldest and youngest children agreed with me to call our baby Hope or Faith. My middle, son, 7 yrs. old and very pigheaded, would have nothing to do with either name. My husband is terminally ill with brain cancer and I have come to the conclusion that he felt like the puppy would be a constant reminder of his father's illness with one of those names rather than a pleasurable change from all of the sadness we constantly feel. Since Tula's and Cherokee's puppies are red, they agreed upon Cinnamon with the nick name Cimmy/Cimmie?! I have suggested that we say she is Cinnamon's Hope or Hope's Cinnamon with no excitement from the wee ones. My 3 yr. old daughter tells everyone that her puppy's name is Cimmy, so I guess that is it.

O.K., time to go act like a mom. My boys each have a friend spending the night, We went swimming, they consumed 3 pizza's in the blink of an eye. I have made brownies and blueberry muffins for them and they are calling me again!!! If nothing else, my daughter needs to go to bed. Have a good night.

Krista - I figured it out! Got them on Delta's and Chloe's so far. Will work on more later. Thanks again. Very cute! Teri

Bummer. Well at least you can see it here. Did you try just copying and pasting the html code into a text box? That's all I did. Oh well.

Amanda - you're welcome!

Krista - thought I knew how to embed the code but don't after going to my website and trying to figure out how to do it. Oh, well! Thanks! Teri
