It's not just for doodles, but the GardenFest for Fidos is Thursday, January 8, and some GRAD members may be there. Nancy posted info on the Discussion Forum. I had to miss the Stony Point Doodle Walk so am hoping for another one soon. Happy New Year Y'all.

Lynn, no I don't think sorbitol is the same thing. Not entirely sure though but as far as I know it is just the Xylitol that is so dangerous. Stella is doing good. Today's blood test came out pretty good. The one biliruben level was back down but the two that were normal are now a little high but still in the normal range. She needs to be tested again next week. The Vet is pretty confident that everything will be ok at this point.
Thanks for all the prayers from everyone. It means so much to me!

Jenn & Greg - congrats on Toby's arrival. He is totally adorable (of course he is, he's a doodle :-)) Just make sure not to change his food from what the breeder was feeding him for the first few weeks and limit treats. Even though he is a happy happy puppy in his new home, there is still the stress of leaving him dog family, etc that can cause a little upset tummy. If the vet gave Toby a clean bill of health, I would not worry. :-) A big wag and a woof from Connor!

Congratulations! I got my DixieMax a year ago and, just like a human baby, his stools were pretty loose at first. If Toby acts and seems healthy, everything is probably all right. He should grow pretty fast so if he doesn't, that's when you should be concerned. (Dixie grew to 80 pounds in a year!) By the way, I have almost a full package - 32 - training pads that we didn't need and you are welcome to have. I live on the northside, about a mile east of Gintner Park. Call me at 515-7535 if you want to pick them up. Happy Doodling! Katie

Hi Everyone! It sounds like the Stony Point walk was a lot of fun. We brought Toby home last Friday and he has been so cute with tons of puppy energy. We love it. One question though that I need some help with... since we have gotten him, he has had loose stools. All checked out at the vet so we were wondering if anyone else had this problem and/or suggestions. Thanks for any help you can offer.
