Profile Information

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a Labradoodle named Cody, and he's the sweetest, smartest dog ever. He's my first dog as an adult, although certainly not my first dog ever. Cody is full of energy and loves to play, but he also knows the importance of a really good cuddle (especially if that cuddle is with one of his favorite toys). While he gets away with a lot...like my dinner when he's cute enough...he's quite well behaved. He's so good, in fact, that he encouraged / motivated me to attend dog training school.

Right now, Cody is our only pet, but he loves playing with my mom's dogs and cats. Well, he loves playing with the cats, but they don't necessarily love playing with him. Some day, I may find a friend for Cody, but he seems so happy on his own (and with his friends at the dog park) I just don't have the heart to shove someone new on him yet.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I grew up with labs and lab mixes, but an in-home business prevented me from getting a dog that sheds. Now I don't know if I'll ever have another dog than a Doodle. My only wish? I wish they made Huskie-doodles. How weird would that look?!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Snuggle in bed, play frisbee, go swimming, go hiking, visit my husband at lunch for work and beg for food (Cody begs. I typically give in).

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I brush and bathe him, but I take him to Holiday Barn for his summer cuts.

Favorite Doodle Products?: I don't have one, but I'd love suggestions on a good brush!

Wanted to let you know Ollie LOVED his bone. I had lots of unpacking to do and he was pouting on the floor, gave him the rawhide and he turned into one happy dood! Still in the process of trying to settle in, but works been a little intense. As soon as things calm down a bit, I'll post photos from the party!

"Annie" is my favorite childhood movie though so I'm a little prejudice too!! :-) Cody did absolutely fabulous as I had NO doubts!! He was just so precious when he was licking annie's face when she was singing to him! I about cried because it was just so sweet! I know you're just so proud! He did an awesome job!!
