This sweet boy showed up in our backyard last week without a collar/tags/microchip. We will start looking for a home for our little guy soon so please, please keep your eyes and ears out for anyone who can provide a loving home for him. He loves playing, going on walks, chasing squirrels, being held, petted and loved. He is precious. Please have anyone interested email or call me:

Hi guys! I'm a new/needy doodle mom. I have an appt to have my canine baby groomed next week. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about Sloppy Kisses off of Hull Street. The groomer, Robyn, seems experienced and nice. Thanks! Good night!!
The Today Show had a wonderful story about a goldendoodle service dog for a 3 yr old girl. Another affirmation about our remarkable doodles...

There's a 2-part Therapy Dog workshop scheduled for Saturday 3/10 (without dogs) and 3/17 (with dogs) at the Richmond Dog Obedience Club. Here's a link to the flyer: http://www.rdoc.org/Documents/docs/flyer.pdf
Kaiya has lots of fun being a therapy dog, and I know there are a few other GRAD members that are therapy dogs. They're such great dogs for this type of work!
There is a gorgeous 4 yr old, F3 labradoodle in rescue with the DRC. Through no fault of her own, she needs a new forever home. She is in foster care in Manassas, VA. If you know of anyone who might give her a loving home, please check this out. ($395 adoption fee)
Hanover's Woof Wag Walk is Saturday, March 10th from 12 - 4pm at Taylor Park. We went last year and had a lot of fun. There were a bunch of vendors and they had a bunch of demos and contests. Here's the link: http://www.co.hanover.va.us/parksrec/events_woofwag.htm
I'm sure we'll be there at sometime during the day.
Just a reminder:
Informal Doodle Walk at Stony Point next Sunday, 3/11, at 2pm. We'll meet at the fountain between Starbucks and Chipotle. I'll send out a group email mid-week as well.
Hope to see a bunch of doods and their people there. :-)
Any events coming up?
Can anyone recommend a good clipper for tight curly Doodles? I have a cheap set and they just "aren't cutting it" :) And would you just buy the thicker blade or use comb attachments? Thanks
