After much anticipation, Dixie Max and I had to stay home and miss the Ginter event. I wonder if Dixie's 75 lbs would have been an issue? Ditto on Valerie's Carytown Doodle Walk vote and I opt for 2/7 rather than 2/14 since some lucky folks might have romantic weekend plans.

I would totally be up for a Doodle Walk through Carytown!

Who all went to Ginter Park? I did see Katie and Cole with baby Marley (so cute), also Sara with her friend’s Aussiedoodle (Beautiful all grown up), along with Nancy and her husband (we need to work on him, for her). Of course Sydney came with Liz or was that the other way around?
I thought the lights were beautiful and there were so many dogs it was kinda crazy. I wasn’t too happy about the large dog discrimination that was going on, I have to say. Did anyone try and go into any of the places that big dogs were not allowed in? How rude… big dogs need love too!

I think Carytown would be fun!

I'm putting this on the Comment Wall instead of the GardenFest Discussion in case some GRAD members might want to re-consider joining in on Thursday night - discounts are available! Your Ukrop's Valued Customer card will get you a $1 discount - there's a senior discount (55+) - and members (www.lewisginter.org) pay 1/2 price - lots of discounts in town with Ginter membership. I got a Valpak coupon for $3 off on ticket so you may have gotten one, too. Unfortunately Entertainment Book coupons don't work for this event. Current forecast for Thursday has no rain and evening temperatures in low 40s - just right for a spirited January doodle walk.

I'm excited to be blending doodles and garden lights - and benefitting the SPCA!
Dixie Max and I look forward to seeing y'all there.

Thanks for the slide show Brenda - looks great! What a great bunch of GRAD doodles!!!

Belinda...what a great slide show!! It amazes me how beautiful all of these doodles of ours are. :-) Every little furry, scruffy face with those lovely almond eyes and huge button nose just melts your heart. How fortunate we are to have these lovely dogs in our lives. Hope to see you all soon! Doodles Rock!!
Woof & wags from Connor!!

Yes, Hanover park was super nice. There were so many dogs for what seemed like as far as the eye could see! It was really nice to meet our new members Oliver, Bridget and Chloe too. I also met one new dood Valentine. All sweet doodles!
