I believe grain free is the best as dogs rarely experience the symptoms Donna listed. Donna, another negative about the new Canidae formula is the fact that it is being manufactured by Diamond Pet foods, one of the pet poisoning companies. I am glad you have changed.

Not to worry, Libby, no direction change. A couple of my moms and one dad are retiring and I wanted breed/raise little spotted Australian puppies!

Patty, congratulations of your new additions! I'm not too familiar with the parti-doodles... Will you be changing directions entirely?

Also wanted to ask, should I be feeding grain free food. I really haven't researched this, because I truthfully never knew there could be a problem.

Hi Friends,
Today I purchased a female and a male chocolate/white parti miniatures. The female is 9 months and we will pick her up at the airport Saturday Sept 20th. The male is to be born Sept 22nd. This is a new direction for LC--I've just been waiting to find Australian miniature partis. Thanks for sharing my joy!

My adult dogs eat Innova Evo. It is grain free and 42% protein--plus they LOVE it. I like the fact that the waste is small and firm.

Both Rufus & Jacoby are doing well on Nature's Balance. I get it from Petco, apparently the only place in Maine that carries it. It does have barley and oatmeal in it, but I haven't noticed any itching problems at all. Not sure if this will help you.

I have a puppy available from the Mimi/Willie June 2, 2008 litter. The adoptive parents called last night to say they are "too old" to keep us with a young puppy; also, both are now working outside the home so the puppy is alone during the day. If you know of anyone lookiong for a pup, let me know. I will send her photo to you, Donna, and hopefully you can post it. Thanks.
