Just returned from obedience class with Christian (8 mos old)and Etta (6 mos old). Another Log Cabin dog, Artie (8 mos old), also attends. Artie is the star--what a champ. Christian and Etta are so laid back they sort of amble through class. Must say, however, that Christian and Etta are the sit & stay and the down & stay champs. They like not moving much!

We are growing and I am tickled! Thank you so much for making it happen and tending it like a noble gardener. I, too, cannot wait for you to meet Miss Scout-- she is indeed a rich, dark chocolate. She and her siblings (plus mom) sleep in a whelping box in our room and I love hearing their soft nursing sounds in the night. Time for me to head there now. Sweet dreams everyone.

Okay this is weird, Rufus never lifts his leg (only twice that I've noticed in the last year or so). Jacoby always does, to the extent that sometimes he almost falls over. (Wish I had a video of him on a hill...too funny) Is this normal?

I know what you mean about the blown out look, I hate it too. I guess I really have to work with the brush I got from Patty. They don't really like it - and I have been iffy about using it! The owner is always to blame.....
