Lisa, It looks like the tile you are using was not created to be seamless. Try this tile and see if it works for you. I found it on http://www.formandfunction.com/wraptures/LINX/w_flora.html.
If you would like to attach your picture of clover/shamrocks, I can try to make a seamless tile our to it.

I put up my St. Paddy's page last week. For backgrounds I try to find or make a seamless tile. Then I upload it an chose Tiled for the background image. This makes a seamless background. I haven't played with the header yet, but plan to this week.
I really like Donna's page too.

I would like to know how she gets the shamrocks down the side or that swoop in the other side. Both are over the seam between body and sides so there must be some trick.
