Some of the outdoor stuff we do with our doodle is Jeeping, Swimming and hiking. He adapts to every enviorment we expose him to. He was is snow in Utah one Sunday and hiking on trails in Az. on Wed. and at the beach on Sat. in one week this spring.....Acts like it's all part of normal life to him.....

ahh! i know exactly what park you are talking about Allyson!!! I used to go there all the time! Lots of deer around and very natural. Hard to believe it's right in the city. You should look for antlers there..lol

Love this group - it must be new!
Peri and I enjoy hiking in the woods near my folk's house. We also love the park that is closeby - you feel like you are in the Smoky Mountains. But it is only 15 minutes from downtown. I am lucky to be in Nashville!

We just got back from taking our doodles for a walk to a near by elementary school and we let them go for a good tumble off leash in the big huge soccer field there. They love it. They will run and run and chase each other. It's freedom at last!!
We also organize a Doodle romp once a week here in Portland but this weekend we didn't because this weekend we got our new poodle and so we needed to access her temperament and spend some one on one time with her. We didn't want to overwhelm her with a dog park trip but usually we love the dog park her in Vancouver which is Ross park and it's the best one I've been tool so if you live near by you should check it out. - Barbara

Does it count that they like the outdoor parks and I love standing watching them? I hate walking here in NJ but love to in Florida! Does the beach count??
