Well our little "Moneypenny" will be joining us in about 2 weeks.  It was a very hard decision.  I really liked 2 of them but I knew better than to bring 2 home.  lol

I'm going on Thursday 2-9-12 to pick my new Parti-child out.  I'm so excited I can hardly stand myself.  I've waited almost 4 years for this.  I've poured over books, lists of names to prepare myself.  I'll post pictures as soon as I can.

Nobody is implying anything about you or your program and I didn't mean 'stock' in a negative or inferior way. It's a term for dogs for breeding (even when they are your beloved pets) and if that is indeed what you are looking for then that must be kept to the breeders group. In any case members can NOT make recommendations here for breeders so it is imperative that you ask for private responses when you ask for such recommendations. Common mistake, nobody is in trouble but I must remind everyone of the rules.

Hello. first off let me start of by saying, I am not trying to start anything here. I was just looking for help. I would never consider my dogs "stock" My five dogs..one Bernese Mountain dog, one yorkie-poo and three Golden-Doodles are my family members and probably my best friends! Infact they all sleet in bed with my husband and I along with a couple of cats. And yes, there is very little room for us but that's okay, we squeeze in together. Even when I bred rabbits for over 15 years, I never considered them stock either! We showed them 4-H and ARBA.  "Stock" to me for example is chickens who lay eyes for you or if you live on a farm per say! I am not a kennel nor would I ever be.  Dogs do not belong in cages! Someday humans will realize what belongs in cages and what does not! I bred Tessie because she has such a wonderful personality that I wanted to share that with others who love the breed as much as I do! I did all the proper tests on her, OFA, cert ect. Infact I did them on my berner even though he is neutered so I would know if he had any problems.  I suggest all dogs be tested! My berner  has hip and elbow displasia and I found out when he was a year old and I have been treating him with supplements ever since.  He is doing wonderful (knock wood). When I adopt one of 'MY" puppies I have a very good contract, I give a huge notebook full of information, a Golden doodle book, toys, heartworms meds, flea preventive and much more. I screen my new puppy parents thoughly. My door is always open for my puppies to return, whether it be for puppy sitting, grooming or just for a visit. Infact we are having a birthday party for one of Tessies' litter this summer and all 9 pups are coming, I live in NJ and one is coming up from Va. and the other from NY. So, I tend to think my puppy parents are happy parents!

I came across the parti doodle while looking for a new addtion to our family.  Yes, she will be a mate for my boy Sidney, my beautiful red Golden Doodle. Tessie is getting spayed in two months.  She will be five in November and I do not believe in over breeding.  Yes I am very picky where I get my new pup from.  I will not deal with a kennel nor a puppy mill (that is a given). I would never ship one of my puppies so I will not deal with someone who ships either. I want to friend someone like me and that is hard!

I think before someone judges others they should know the facts! And yes I have been on the breeder page.  As I said I was just looking for some help...sorry! Jaynie

Jaynie, if you're looking for breeding stock then your question needs to go into the Breeders group if you are a breeder.  Breeding matters are not supposed to be in general groups on DK.

Adina, you have great suggestions but Jaynie is looking for breeding doodles so she might be more picky than just looking for a particular parti color combination. It's not something that she hides, but she doesn't come right out and say that she's looking for breeding stock either, in some of her posts.

Where have you looked? Have you checked our Owner Recommended Breeders group? Have you checked out our article on what to look for in a breeder? That has usefule breeder lists.

I really want a female parti doodle and I am having tha hardest time.  Either a chocolate or red. Can anyone direct me?  Jaynie
