Doodle Eyelashes

So this may sounds a little crazy...but my little Jarvis has the most amazing blonde eyelashes. They seriously look like falsies. My fiance and I are obsessed with how cute they are. My question is...do they stay that way? Or is it just a puppy thing? Wehad a mini schnauzer a while ago who had long eyelashes that never went away, but i'm just curious about the doodle ones? Also, who else has little ones with amazing lashes like these? I would love to see!

You are not alone!!!  I have no idea if they stay this way or not, but I also love them!  Jarvis's are beautiful.  Millie has some gorgeous red ones.  I don't think they are as long as Jarvis's though. 

Either way, I don't want them to leave either!

Luna has bright red eyelashes that started out blonde when she was a puppy.  They're quite short, but her hair is short all over.  I've seen lots of doodles around here with VERY long eyelashes as adults, maybe your doodle's will stay that way!

They will stay! Just make sure to tell your groomer not to cut them!!!!! The first time the groomer cut Murphy 's I was in tears. It never occurred to me that she would cut them. Your pup is adorable!

Winston is 9 months now and his golden eyelashes are still going strong! So strong in fact he had his first groom the other day and I specifically told her not to touch them. Well, they looked SO long and crazy after his hair was shorter that we ended up trimming them ourselves when we got home! It looked like he had blinders on lol

Sam has extremely long copper colored eyelashes...that is until the groomer cut them a few weeks ago! I was so sad that she did that, but they were probably 4-5 inches long!

I know right! They were easily 4 inches, but now they are about 1.5 inches. It was sad!

They stay. And they even grow back if they accidentally get cut. I think there's a slideshow/album with pictures of eyes and lashes.

Stanlee is now a year old and his once long eyelashes are now SUPER long!  I was trying to find a picture to show but black lashes on a black dog are not easy to see.  They are easily 3 inches long.

Doodle eyelashes continue to grow, just like their hair, and need to be trimmed occasionally. I've always thought they were pretty, but I keep them short on both my doods due to the possibility of their lashes getting into their eyes (sometimes they grow right into their eyes, causing irritation). What I like even more than eyelashes is the black 'eyeliner' both my cream doodles have around their eyes.
