I've posted before about Molly Doodles, terrible twos. I think we are still in them. She turned 6 months this past Saturday...and MAN is she a handful at times. I want my angel dooodle back!!

Yesterday, DH turned his back for a SECOND and when he turned back around Molly had grabbed a mouth full of papers from our office desk. He chased her around the kitchen and finally managed to grab the papers out of her mouth...he discovered that the papers she had munched on, were his truck decal tax papers. It was the letter that SC DMV sends you that says "PAID" and on the inside of the letter is the actual decal sticker....well, thankfully he was able to recover the letter with the PAID stamp on it, but the actual decal???!!! GONE! Molly ate his truck decal sticker!!!
He turned and asked me "Really?! Now what am I suppose to do? Go down to the DMV and say "my dog ate my decal?" they will never believe me!" LOL!!!!
I told him that was exactly what he was going to have to do, and to take the letter marked paid with him.

Last night, while DH was getting ready for bed. He began pulling the objects from his shorts pockets and laying them out on his nightstand....coins, pocket knife, wallet, toilet paper roll, pen....wait...what??
Me: "Honey, why do you have...."
He cuts me off with one word "Molly!"
HAhahahaha...she has figured out how to take the entire roll of toilet tissue off of the mounted wall holder and proceeds to shred the paper and munch on the roll.

Seriously- you would think we don't keep our eyes on her at all times...but WE DO...she is just SO quick and so durn sneaky!!

She has also started counter surfing!!! UGH!!!!!

Even though she drives us both crazy at times, when DH starts fussing I always say "but look how pretty she is!"...lol....thats what a doodle will do to you!
I'm sure the DMV employees will understand DH if he says "yes my dog actually ate my decal, but...she's really pretty!"

HaHaHa....love the "toilet paper roll in DH's pocket".  Six months is a tough age...it will get so much better!
Things will improve. I promise! Owen was making me really question his purchase at that age. We are seeing improvements every month. Still full of the dickens but manageable. Your husband sounds great!
This will pass. Six months is about the age when my dog Barley went from angel doodle to devil doodle. You reminded me how Barley chewed up the corner of my federal tax return. I was able to tape it back together. He grabbed it from the table as I was working on it, so I was able to get it back before too much damage was done. Anyway, Barley is a year and a half now and he's back to being an angel and I forget the puppy terrible twos until I read stories like yours. She will definitely grow out of it, and you'll barely remember all of the trouble Molly Doodle got into. Of course, as I type this I realize how I'm conveniently forgetting how Barley grabbed insulation out of our garage yesterday and strewed it across the front lawn. He had help though from our St. Bernard puppy. The two boys egg each other on and destruction rarely happens now.
LOL... VERY funny!  And something I can completely relate to!  Love to hear what the DMV clerk said!  Hope you  got one with a sense of humor, or at least one that has a dog!  LOL
This story is hilarious!  Do you have kids?  If so, you'd better hide their homework!
LOL, love this story! This will pass!
Just give that girl some hugs...one day you will look back & laugh even MORE : )
I had to call General Electric Payroll Dept once to tell them that our dog ate my husbands paycheck....no need to stop payment!  The ladies were not in the office yet, so I had to leave a voice mail for them - they got a big kick out of that story!
Harley LOVES, LOVES, LOVES toilet paper.  grabs the end and takes off running with a trail of TP behind him.
This story made me giggle.  I am a BMV employee in Indiana, and boy have we heard the stories....and yes most of them is "my dog ate my sticker" lol  Puppies are soooo fun aren' they?  When they grow up, we always say remember how cute they were as a puppy.  Hang in there one day she will be the perfect dog ;)
Our 10 month old puppy loves to grab the newspaper off the kitchen table. She waits for us to finish reading it, and then makes her move. She's considerate that way :)
This is funny...life gets easier. However, at age 2, Peri stole some papers off of daddy's desk and shredded.  DH says "if she wasn't so cute I'd have killed her by now" (of course, KIDDING).
