Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I'm doing our Amazon shopping this week - (we live in a tiny town, no Petsmart here) and here's what I've bought so far
large crate
large crate bed
large crate cover
food
food water dish
treats
What else do I need? Any toy recommendations? I was thinking a kong, nylabones, maybe that "hide a squirrel" toy...Help I only have a few days!
Also - I'm freaking out about this polar vortex. How in the world am I going to potty train in this cold? I will be home most of the time with my young daughter who won't leave my hip - and trying to carry her and take the puppy out every 30 minutes I must be nuts!

The Kong wobbler has been a favorite for hours of fun. We put in Kallies regular food kibbles in it, and she knocks it around to get them out. The Hartz Dura Foot ball is another fun toy.A stainless steel comb is also very necessary, and we use it more than brushes. A slicker and pin brushes are good too. Lupine leashes and collars are guaranteed, and replaced if chewed. Good quality. Definitely get the poochie bells or similar. We have them for front and back door, and Kallie learned to use them quickly. We got an easy walk harness, but you probably want to wait until your pup is larger.Enjoy your baby and take lots of pictures, since they grow fast!
Another great site my kids introduced me to is wag.com.
A holee roller ball, really good quality bully sticks and an exercise pen/pet gates. Oh, and Nature's Miracle No-Chew. Yarrow loved her Hide-a-Squirrel for a while but she's sort of bored with it now. I do not regret buying it as she got so much pleasure from it for about a month. I'll put it away now and reintroduce it to her in a few weeks/months.
Oh, and nail clippers and a brush.
I used to groom professionally and I wouldn't buy a comb. I have a Conair pin brush with memory gel grip. Yarrow LOVES it and it's really comfortable to hold. Later you may want to also get a Safari mat splitter. But you probably won't need it for several months. I also invested in a grooming quality blow dryer.
That sounds like what I have bought. Where did you get the pumpkin paste?
