Hi everybody!  Toulouse and I are new to DoodleKisses and we love it.  Learned a lot already.  We live in San Diego in the Mission Hills,Hillcrest area and we are looking for a good groomer.  He is only 3 mo. old, but I want to get him started so he will get used to it.  So, if you know anyone, we would appreciate it.  Thanks, Gigi

The park is ON Lampson...BEHIND a business complex. A little hard to see, but it's there.There is lots of grass and shady trees and plenty of fresh water. Unfortunately there are no benches so pop a couple beach chairs in your car.I will have several with me too.

Turn up the little road OFF Lampson and proceed until you must turn right to the parking lot and you'll see the dog park.

I have a fantastic mobile groomer.  I live in Mission Viejo in Orange County.  I cannot imagine trying to groom my 75 pound Doodle myself, but I really admire anyone that can do it. If anyone wants this referral please let me know.  We have met numerous people with Doodles and they have used our groomer and been really happy with him.

Terri, I am glad you found someone that is just right for you and for Kramer.  My groomer is right for me.

Thanks Nancy. I really did like your groomer, it is just too far with having to entertain myself for a few hours ( in the mall $$$ ) I have recommended patients at work that admire Kramers pictures, and coworkers too. I have started going back to school at RCC so weekend time is precious right now. It can be such a battle to find the right groomer, and so disappointing to pay a lot of money to be so unhappy with his coat. I posted in SoCal group so anyone local that is going through that struggle can consider her too. Diane made the first cut with the clippers while I watched so the length would be just what I wanted, and Kramer was happy to be there for a change! I REALLY admire you doodlers who are taking on grooming yourselves...wish I had the time and patience to do that too.

You need to go to this groomer! Love my dog, hated the hunt for a decent groomer! Taj Mapaw Spa has been mentioned here before, don't know by whom but THANK YOU! My hunt is officially over, we will be going to Diane until she kicks us out! Lol She loves dogs and is very warm and welcoming and has NO crates, plenty of dog bed and toys. BEST.GROOMER.EVER.

Here is a link to an upcoming romp in Las Vegas.  We will be going - taking the RV for the weekend.  Last year we drove in for the day and had a blast.
