I thought I would just update everyone to let you know that both Pasadena dogs got adopted. Both had waiting lists and each of them were adopted by the first people on their wait lists as soon as they became available. They didn't need any rescue help after all!

Another California Doodle needing a home  (not fostering). Anyone looking for another doodle?

I'm wondering if any of you knows someone in So Cal who would like to
add a doodle to their household? Sweet Figaro needs a good loving home.
He is fostered in Anaheim, and is just a doll-boy. He is recovering from
eye surgery, the same kind Adina's Rosco had for entropion, and once he
heals, he will be as good as new. His photos don't do him justice. As
you can see from his listing, he was found as a stray and was so badly
matted, he had to be shaved down.
We are getting applications for him, but because we don't have a PF
account in California, they are all from people in the east...MD, NJ,
PA, etc. We don't want to have to move this poor guy that far. So far,
we have not received any good applications for him anywhere near his
foster home.
Maybe someone in the So Cal is looking for another doodle? He is very
good with other dogs and kids of all ages, and very sweet natured.
Thanks for any help you can give Figaro in finding his forever home.

Hi everyone, I've had these guys on my radar since they came in to the Pasadena shelter and am in contact with their adoption specialist. There are two and they are on a 10-day hold since one of them was microchipped and they came in together. If no one comes for them, I think I have at least one foster lined up, but may be looking for a second, so if anyone can help, contact me!

I just looked at the Pasadena Humane Society website and also saw two dogs listed as standard apricot poodles posted 12/20/10 that could also be doodles. It has been so long since they have been groomed, hard to tell and doesn't show their tails.  On page 8 at the time I checked.

Nancy, Christmas favor....Would you PLEASE post this in the Southern Cal group please, I am not a member there and because he is on the EXTRA URGENT status at the shelter, I don't have time to wait for Michelle to
accept my memb....I have to share to other places too still, have a
wonderful Christmas day!! Deb

DOODLE GET-TOGETHER SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 28TH AT LAGUNA CANYON DOG PARK HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN AND MUD.  HOPEFULLY WE CAN RESCHEDULE THIS FOR DRYER WEATHER.
