Well now the hard part, they are a small magazine in Portland so we are trying to find an inexpensive way to get it down south! Said the bed is HUGE, about 5' by 3.5', approx 30# and really comfy. She said it takes a full corner of her office! lol Can't wait to finally get it! I'm gonna cuddle with the dogs!
Thanks, I like Gwyn's idea every time I see it! Plus we have tons of toys even though Sassy LOVES her toys. Come to think of it, we don't have a nice bed either? Sassy lays on the floor more than the couch and uses her toys as a pillow so maybe this will be enticing since it'll have a built in headrest. Thanks guys I knew you'd help me out. Ü
Jolene, GO for the cozy couch bed. You can easily make inexpensive healthy treats but the bed would be more complicated to make. I've been making chicken gizzards and yam treats for our two and they love them. Congrats on the Win! Sassy looks just like her adorable self.
Woo Hoo exciting news, for the fun of it, I entered Sassy in a picture contest for Spot Magazine and she won! Here's where I need your reasoning input. She gets to choose from two prizes: (1) a LARGE, very cozy, couch-style dog bed or (2) a holiday give basket full of dog goodies?
Sassy would love the dog goodies but I am concerned it'll be treats we don't eat or toys one chomp will destroy BUT it's would be fun for her to go through it? On the other hand a nice bed would handy, by couch style I'm guessing that has the high back?? Please provide feedback, I'm torn which to choose!
BTW, here's the link. She's on page 8 - http://spotmagazine.net/
Jolene, our daughter is going to Julian this weekend and tent camping with her lab. She thinks it is a state park but not sure. She said there is supposed to be an 'easy' hike loop. I will let you know what her verdict is. She said she is pretty sure the campground is dirt and not necessarily level.
Jolene, Today's Register has three sites to go to for dog friendly places:
