Chloe is mad that she missed the romp yesterday.  I told her to be patient and the next one will be here before she knew it.  LOL!

Great pictures! My Riley was so timid but with more interactions I have hope he will get better with people and other doodles instead of running away from them. Had a great time! :)

Thanks for posting the pictures!!  I had intended to come, but neighbors stopped by, and well, pretty soon it was 3:00!!  I will see you all next time!!

We had 19 Doodles at the Romp today.  Six new Doodles with their owners.  Terese & Eric with Laker, Jessica & Jon with Riley, Tracy & Larry with Casey, Jenny with Cooper, Carrie with Lucy, Christine with Hula.

Great romp today.  I am putting my pictures on Picasa right now.  It takes forever with my crummy internet connection.  I am in the market to change providers.  Any recommendations?

Today was the block party in our city and it ended with fireworks. Since we are so close we watched them from our backyard. We've discovered Josie is not a fan and Sassy couldn't care less. Once I was outside she handed me the ball so there I was in the pitch dark tossing her the ball and damned if she didn't actually catch it in the mid air? Lol. The big booms she stopped and looked but never showed any sign of fear. Josie hid in the back room with my mom.

 We keep them inside if we hear any being set off. The neighbors above us set them off sometimes and when they are that close it does bother them, but no panic.

Nancy, Sorry it hasn't happened to me so I don't have a solution for you.  

Are any of you experiencing fireworks going off in your neighborhood and scaring your dogs?  Hershey and Sydney can hear the fireworks in the distance every night at 9:30 PM from Disneyland and pay no attention to them.  Tonight fireworks was going off close to us and Hershey was really shaking and panting for 1/2 a hour in my lap.  I was holding her firmly, talking slowly and rocking her.  She finally fell asleep in my lap and didn't move for another half an hour in an exhausted sleep.

Does this happen to anyone else?

When I go to groups -- southern ca - it takes me to 2010 or 2013 or somewhere in the past but NEVER to the current page.  I have to go to a current discussion, click on it and then go back from that to the group home page.

I wonder if a setting is incorrect or something?
