I posted my pics in PJ's picture discussion also :)
Jolene, you guys were missed. Next time!
Gwyn, your pictures are great! I especially liked the one where all the dooodles are waiting for treats from me. LOL.
I posted my pics of Sunday's romp in PJ's discussion with her pictures.
Suzy, Your Ruffie looks like a mini doodle. Mine are too. We travel with them in one crate on the back seat with the car seat belt securing the crate. This keeps them safe from getting thrown around if there were sudden stops.
We have taken our doodle in an open jeep. We use a padded seat belt harness. He lays down when we are on a freeway/highway. I am sure he doesn't like that much wind.
But one of strange side effects that Kona has from the prednisone is big hunger! He used to eat like a bored kitty....nibbles here and there all day long when he felt like a drive by kibble. Zero food guarding or food aggression. Now.....he wants his food...NOW! And he's eating an entire cup at one sitting and then moving over to Maggie's portion. I have to take him to another room to let Maggie eat a decent portion. They share bowls, so there isn't fighting or aggression, just Kona eating more than his share while they are sharing. Today, for the first time ever......while I was on phone with Paul and walked into the other room, he stole a very large 1/2 of a sub sandwich fully wrapped in butcher paper and then in plastic.....and when I came back into the kitchen, just a few scraps of paper were left on the floor. Yikes! They have stolen butter off of the counter before, so I keep that pushed back, but this is the first full human meal they've stolen! I'm wondering how much paper they devoured! I'm sure it was Kona who got it down given his appetite with the meds. Lots of poop coming our way!
Nimbus is only 3 pounds less than Kona! Big boy! Kona is doing much better. If you didn't know him from before, you'd just think he was a well trained, polite little boy. But those who knew him know that the politeness is him still being slightly lethargic. But much better!
Great pics everyone, Helga you got a lot of great shots. Sassy would have failed the well trained doodle pose! lol Little Sierra is absolutely adorable can't wait to meet her and Nimbus looks huge in Paul's arms?? Gwyn, Kona looks good, still getting better I hope?? Even more bummed we missed it. Definitely next time, I hope.
Thanks Helga! I haven't looked at mine yet. I'm sure I have a few funny ones with the Halloween costumes
