Welcome, Roslyn.
Hi I have a childcare home. I also have Nana Grace who is a year old Bernedoodle.
Kyoko, two more years until you retire? You can do it! And then you can do whatever you like. With me, it is gardens, but plenty of other interests also. You will find your special niche.
You can do it, Kyoko!
I figured out that for the last 10 years I have been here, I had 4.5 supervisor change. So, each supervisors lasted about a little over 2 years. So, I think I can ride it out for 2 years.. !!
Lynda, I am still hoping for our garden project as well....
This is really special, Lynda. You certainly are making a difference.
So sorry, Kyoko, I definitely feel for you. Both of my elementary schools (where I volunteer) have new principals this year and they are quite helpful. My gardening project is going great and there was even an article in the paper about our project yesterday. Tomorrow we go in to repair the sign on the Bernice Winters Garden and put in new watering for the two planter boxes under repair. Then we are ready to start planting. Oct. 4 is a planting day for natives. Here is the flyer I made announcing the project.
Kyoko, I'm sorry you are having difficulties with your new assistant superintendent. I hope that as the year progresses things will smooth over you will feel better.
It's a LONG story, but I am not teaching this year. The one thing I do NOT miss are administration conflicts and carrying around the target on my back.
Best of luck to you! Your program sounds wonderful and good for your students so I hope this new person doesn't mess with it! :)
I am sorry Kyoko. This person has lots of influence over your job description I'll bet, but perhaps you can avoid him/her for most of the time?
We have a new assistant superintendent and I do not care for the change...I am a bit miserable....
