Yep, a weeknight would probably be better.  The park never closes even after it starts to get dark, which is nice... so we wouldn't be racing the light.  It does get a little rowdy there on the weekends because it gets so crowded.  Let me know when you'd like to meet up!

We could meet at the Peta park since there is no fee and the dogs can run and play even though there will be other dogs.  A week day or week night might be less busy.  What are your thoughts?

Hey!  Yep the big side is open every day except Monday and Tuesdays.

Ok.  I am ready to have a romp.  Any suggestions on where we can have it?  It would be nice if the dogs were able to play w/o their leashes.  Is the big side of the Peta park opened yet?

Hi everyone!  Just found this site...we are located in Isle of Wight County.  Looking forward to sharing some doodle stories.

Haven't been on here for ages, yikes :S.  But we'd love a romp!  Never been to the Peta park....

I went to the Peta dog park in Norfolk a few weeks ago.  I think it would  be a great place to have a romp.  They were seeding the grass in the big area so it was closed.  I am going to check when it will be open.  It would be a great place for a romp.  What do you think?

Rachel-- I missed that you asked about the Peta dog park.  I go there all the time.  They have two parks.  Right now they big one is closed (it's been closed for months!) so they can "let the grass heal."  Hopefully it will be open soon.  They have a smaller park-- it still does the trick; however, they don't get to run AS much or get up as much speed at the small one.  In fact, Peta has a web cam so you can see if anyone is there before making a drive: http://features.peta.org/PETADogPark/

Has anyone been to the Pita dog park in Norfolk?  Maybe we could have a romp there.  I think the dogs are allowed off leashes.
