We towel them off and bring them in thru the garage.. but they roll in everything. Miley is super curly, like a poodle... Mo has more of the fleece coat.
Oh and we love the snow!! It's too fun for them.

Aw thanks! =)

Wendy, I just towel and/or brush him off when he's particularly messy ;). Luckily he's super curly, so I think things just don't stick to him like they would on a different coat. Now, that's not to say I'm not swiffering the wood floors and vacuuming a whole bunch.... =S But we just love his shagginess so much, I'd hate to cut him short!

Tracey, how do you keep him clean? I have to shave mine just to keep them from tracking half the crap outside inside with them!! All Motta and Miley have to do is roll in the mulch once with long hair and then come in and shake... and my floors are done for!! lol... Oh and they are matting like crazy right now. I actually cut Motta's leg while grooming him and had to go get 4 staples put in his leg~! Talk about feeling like a horrible mommy!! So they look a little like poodles.... poodles are ok... right? lol Seamus is a handsome boy!

This is from this morning...some of the POOF is gone from his 'blow-out', but not quite back to his normal wavy self ;).

This is from earlier this month...sorry I don't have a full body shot, but you get the idea ;).

Just wanted to share that Seamus had his first official grooming over at Blue Haven Pet Salon, and it was a terrific experience! Apparently he was a very good boy =), and Margie did an AWESOME job. I didn't arrive with a Doodle and leave with a poodle ;). Highly recommend!

Haven't done a romp there, but in the off-season we used to always take our Golden there for off-leash time ;).

Will the dogs be able to play off their leash?

I've been dying for a romp! Seamus LOVES to play with other dogs =). I think the beach is great, and this time of year, easy to do (love Sandbridge).

Maridith that's great to know about that groomer, it's not one I've heard about. I Rachel I missed your post too...I know several folks have rec'd Blue Haven Pet Salon (iirc it's off of Lynnhaven Pkwy.)...Seamus is way overdue for his first visit, and that is where I've been planning to take him =).

Can anyone suggest a local good groomer besides Petsmart?
