Update on the doodle in St. Thomas.  There is a foster home in Michigan if we can find someone to help get the dog there.

Does anyone live near St Thomas??  The DRC might need to pull a chocolate doodle from a shelter there and need some Ontario people to help!!

Howdy from Pickering....near the beach. Nothing he likes more than going in for a dip, then digging in the sand :P He just turned 2 in March.

I know the West Rouge area well!!! Lived on W.Rouge for 10 years....worked at the W.Rouge Community Centre for 19 years!!!!

Who couldn't love a doodle? Best most lovable little buddy you could ask for!!!

Hi Marg...welcome to this amazing site...I live in "west rouge" which is on the pickering/scarborough border.  We have a 2 1/2 year old male goldendood named Thomas or the "tomcat" as we call him.  I know Ajax well...my sister lives south of Bayley east of Pickering Beach Rd/Salem Rd.  Our doodle was 100.4 lbs. in Feb but he has been dieting as per the vets advice. I think he has lost at least 6 lbs...he looks way thinner.  At a year old he weighed 95 lbs! HUGE ...but is the kindest and most gentle dog we have ever seen.  Your doodles are gorgeous and I hope you enjoy this site.

thanks Debbie, I have a better idea of where you guys are now.  I've passed through the area from time to time.  I'll try to get more pics up of Yuki soon. (actually Yuki's a girly girl).  I'm really enjoying doodlekisses so far but my biggest challenge is finding time to sign in and catch up on all the great discussions and news!  If there's ever a doodle meet anytime soon in our end of the world, I would love to meet you and Thomas! :)

I know the campground you are talking about...on the north side of Hwy 2 but we are much south of there...quite a bit south of there about half way to the lake just a few blocks east of Port Union.  Your doodle looks so much like ours and they are close in age and both males.  Post some more pictures Of your dood on your page...I would love to see more of him. You will love being a part of doodlekisses...at first I was addicted to this as Thomas was a very nippy puppy and I needed advice on how to deal with him...so many kind people here and they helped us through that stage.  Now I try to sign on a few times a week to catch up on things and love hearing about other doodles all over the world.  If your doodle Yuki ever needs a playmate let me know.

Hi Debbie,

Yes, you are very close!  I'm familiar with West Rouge...my mother used to live in the area.  It's been some time but I use to walk in that part of the Rouge accessible via the campgrounds or by the bridge.  We'll have to try to make it out there more often and meet more doodles! :)

Cindy, we live very close to you...we are in West Rouge which is south of the 401 and east of Port Union. There are tons of doodles here...we call it doodletown!!   Our doodle Thomas is also 2 years old and the picture of your doodle looks exactly like him. I cannot leave you a message on your page until you accept me as a friend so I will send the request tonight.  Hope to communicate with you in the future.

Hi Everyone! 

Just joined DK not too long ago and glad to be part of it!

We live out in the North East end of Scarborough, just a stone's throw from the Rouge Park...our favorite place to walk!
