I was sick all last week with a head cold, and still haven't gotten over it, so its hard to take care of a 10 week puppy when you're sick. But I did get her health insurance, her microchip registered, and her first puppy kindergarten and vet visit done. She likes to lick, but I can see we will have some issues with potty training, eating mulch (cedar chips) and sticks, and digging.

One thing I didn't know: my breeder offers 1 month of free health insurance through Trupanion, but Trupanion wanted the breeder's code (which I didn't get.) But at my first vet visit, they had Trupanion, and if you registered within 24 hours of your vet visit, you can get immediate insurance.

So sleep is at a premium, and its been very hard to get anything done besides tending Echo. But she is a love bug. I have a hard time reading her potty signals, but would like to make some homemade potty bells to see if she might respond. And, I've lost at least 5 pounds in the last week due to either being sick or Echo not settling down.
