I actually do know Viola Davis, but I have not seen Doubt yet. She just looks so much older in this movie.

I've seen Viola Davis, who plays Aibilene, in other things and she is terrific She was in Doubt, which was an excellent movie.

She plays Hilly's mom and was hysterical. Allison Janey plays Skeeter's mom. I really have to say I did not recognize most of the other major leads.

Gosh, F, I thought later I worded it incorrectly and that no one would notice. I basically said the same thing twice...LOL. That was the review. The movie stays very true to the book and I loved all the actresses. Sissy Spacek and Allison Janey were both great. It made me cry. Now, that is all I am saying until other people go see it :)

I read the book a long time ago, but it all came back as I was watching the movie. I loved it and will be curious to see what others think. I am going back with my DH and DD this weekend.

I stayed up until 3:30 a.m. reading the book, can't imagine the movie being as good but can't wait to see it!

I just posted a review of The Help in the review section. Excellent movie. RUN don't walk to the nearest Theater. Outstanding!!!!
