Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This group is for those of us with puppies or dogs who look far more like the Golden or Labrador halves of themselves than the Poodle half. This group is for us to recognize the Poodle traits that shape our dogs while sharing experiences.

Theo is a gorgeous color. He is very handsome.
He is so cute :) Love those eyebrows!
Hello! My sweet 10.5 week old F1b goldendoodle is such a mystery to my husband and I. He has an open face, super curly ears, and a straight/suddenly *kinda* wavy back. His hair has started this weird, patchy, different color thing. Can anyone explain this? We figured it was far too early for a coat change.. he is 1 of 11 and the majority of his brothers and sisters are extremely doodle-y with only a couple of them still looking like him. What’s going on with my poodle-less doodle?7F8C3731-E376-413D-96E7-0E24327451A5.jpeg
Welcome Haley! Louie is adorable but I agree that he is probably not going to get very doodle-y looking. It looks like he has what is called an "open face", meaning he does not have the gene for facial furnishings which are the long hair around the muzzle and eyes that give hat doodle-y look.
Hank is one of my favorites
I think Pita will be quite fluffy. What a cutie.
My Hank looks like a springer spaniel or an english setter. At about 13 months his fluff started coming in. He's now getting curls on his head and fluffy legs....waiting until he's 2 to see what he'll look like. We love him and he's still a beautiful dog
