Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This group is for those of us with puppies or dogs who look far more like the Golden or Labrador halves of themselves than the Poodle half. This group is for us to recognize the Poodle traits that shape our dogs while sharing experiences.

Oh! Hamilton is adorable! He does look very much like the golden living next door to us, but much cuter.
Samantha, in this photo, Hamilton (great name!) looks more retrieverish than doodlish. Your hubby could say he is a retriever mix. I often say mine are poodle mixes and don't go into the whole doodle thing unless someone seems really informed. If he doodles out as he grows up, your hubby can change to poodle mix.
We took our 10 week old for a walk the other day and my husband said 'He's a golden retriever" when someone asked because he didn't want to explain the whole goldendoodle/retriever thing! I told him don't give our pup an identity crisis! Here's Hamilton, wondering if he will get doodley but we are in love with him regardless! His mom is an F1B redhead doodle and his dad pure bred retriever.
Amen Jennifer!
These dogs are all so special and so unique however most seem to have such wonderful personalities that make them all fantastic! I was just away from my girls for the last 10 days so I may be gushing a bit but they really are all terrific! No matter what they look like!
Oh my! I just love looking at all these photos of the non-"traditional" looking Doodles. I just love mine as she has the cutest personality quirks that make her special! Rebecca, you can add pics here in the text box that you write in. Right above that box on the left is a box that says "link". Right next to it is the "image" box and if you click on that, you can add photos. To add more than one, just do it again.
