Where's the Poodle in my Doodle?

Hey guys, I think this might be the place for us. We recently got an f1b mini goldendoodle, Winston. He'll be 13 weeks tomorrow, and I've come to accept that he might not have the traditional "doodle" look and will have an open face. He's also not going to be as small as expected. His mom was 34lbs and his dad was 11lbs. Winston weighed in at 16.5lbs at his 12 week appt and the vet estimates he'll be in the 45-50lb range. He's a love bug, though, and we're way too attached to let these things bother us, even if he's not exactly what we had expected. 
His hair on his head was much wavier when we got him at 8 weeks, but it's straightened out quite a bit since then. He's also developed a very coarse, wiry strip down his back. I know the coat changes more than once but is this a better indicator of his future coat?

I imagine your pup will have fairly straight hair but will have facial furnishings.  My guess is that she will shed.  She is just adorable.

We have an 18 week F1 goldendoodle named Nola. Would love to hear thoughts on her coat?! Breeder said she would have a wavy coat. Is this as wavy as it will get? I wanted a little more curl, but my husband LOVES her coat. No matter what, we love her! :)

Thanks ! He seemed to have started out with furnishings when he was shy of 8 weeks. He was very fluffy and still has wavy hair along his back. His mom was a very curly goldendoodle and his dad a purebred retriever. I know that is probably not common to do but I wanted a golden retriever temperament without the heavy shedding. I am excited to see changes as he grows :-)

OMD! Milo is adorable! Unfortunately, if you are looking for the fluffy doodle, I don't think Milo will get there. He has no facial furnishings but he is certainly a cutie!

This is our golden doodle Milo. Also looking less doodle so I wonder if he changes over time.

Here is Tank and Gunnar, litter mates, 21 weeks old.  Tank is 53 pounds Gunnar is 48 pounds as of this morning.

Love these pup pictures!! Gunner looks pretty shaggy or like he is going to be, how old is he now?

I know! His brother Tank is 53 pounds already!
