Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This group is for those of us with puppies or dogs who look far more like the Golden or Labrador halves of themselves than the Poodle half. This group is for us to recognize the Poodle traits that shape our dogs while sharing experiences.

Oh wow he is getting shaggy! :) cutie.
Just a little update on Charlie...facial furnishings are coming in strong for this late bloomer. He’s looking more doodley everyday. He’s a little maniac but a lovable maniac.
And after all, what difference does it really make, lol?
That's what would make the most sense to me too, J.
I don't think filial generations work when you mix lines. In this case I think pup would be an f1 double doodle or whatever you want to call it.
Hi Mandi, her generation would depend on what generation her sire is, which would depend on what generation his parents (Cannoli's grandparents) are. If they are both F1s, the sire would be an F2. Her mom is an F1 labradoodle.
However, that may all be moot, because Cannoli is a mix of labradoodle and goldendoodle, and I'm not sure how filial generations apply in that case.
What did her breeder call the pups, in temrs of generation? That would normally be what you'd go by.
As far as her coat, we need a picture, lol.
Good morning! I was hoping you all could help me. Cannoli mom is a half lab and half poodle. Her dads parents are both Goldendoodles. What F type would she be?
I also know their coats change a lot she is only 6 wks. But can anyone give predictions on fur. Thanks so much
I let the ears fool me. Charlie most definitely has facial furnishings. AND he is very handsome. I have a friend with a late-blooming doodle, so I should have thought of that.
