Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This group is for those of us with puppies or dogs who look far more like the Golden or Labrador halves of themselves than the Poodle half. This group is for us to recognize the Poodle traits that shape our dogs while sharing experiences.

Yep, his mustache and white beard make him look like a much older dog. Add the fact that he is super calm and mature 90% of the time and its hard to believe he is still a puppy. He was small enough to sleep on my lap 2 months ago.
Gunnar's looking very distinguished! Glad to hear the shedding has almost stopped, Oakley hasn't started losing his puppy coat yet but I hope the same goes for him once he does. Boy do they grow fast, right before our eyes!
19 weeks 42 pounds. Despite the mostly straight Labrador style coat, he has stopped shedding almost completely. Still sheds a bit but seems like his puppy coat came out. You can't pinch and come away with a handful of fur like our friend's standard Lab.
Hopefully it stays like that. Best of both worlds for us!
He is getting big!
Thank you. I agree, very similar Jada has that great red color and the best eyelashes!
Gwen is a beautiful, beautiful girl with that rich black coat. I think she is going to look very labish over all but with a lighter, smaller build.
Still hoping that Gwen will look somewhat like a doodle! I'm not sure she will. She however is just the sweetest and smartest dog I've ever had. We love her so much! Here she is at 9 weeks and again at 14 weeks. She his a bit fuzzier with some longer hairs here and there. Her tail is also starting to have waves which make it looked kinked! Her dad is a standard poodle and mom a black lab.
