Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This group is for those of us with puppies or dogs who look far more like the Golden or Labrador halves of themselves than the Poodle half. This group is for us to recognize the Poodle traits that shape our dogs while sharing experiences.

Aw thanks! Best of all she is just a sweetheart of a dog, but that goes with the territory with doodles I think. They have a wonderful temperament yet can be so goofy and funny.
Looks alot like our mattie..;-).....she had a full poodle and retreiver as parents....and no one believes she even has poodle........sheds alot.......and i only see curls when she is wet then she looks mostly poodle...lol......she is 9 now and her wiskers are turning grey now.....she had thick thick fur at 9 wks.....then by 1 yr she was all golden...............it was amazing to watch....!....i notice now i only see F1's but no half and half...'never had a dog where i wondered how they were going to look....lol..but that was half the fun of having her........
I love the loose waves around her neck. She is a gorgeous color.
I looked at your new photos!
His fur looks similar to Willow's at 8 weeks. Willow is an F1 goldendoodle. Her fur was straight and fluffy, with some longer looking wispy white hairs (hard to explain!) The only pics I have of Willow at 8 weeks were done with my ipod, which has terrible quality! This is the best I could do for a comparison. Willow's ears were always wavy and fury though..which may have been an indicator to how wavy the rest of her is turning out...
I liked looking through the group F1 Doodles there is a discussion about coat changes with tons of pics of transitioning coats!
Gibbs is adorable! Congrats on your new puppy :)
