Bridget...that's right...I couldn't remember what name you chose. Cute. Puppies are the best to cuddle with. I am totally looking forward to some cuddle time, myself! I swear I have forgotten how to potty train. It's been 12 years, and I seem to remember Haus potty training himself...although that can't be true. ;-) Was I super pretty and skinny in your dream? ;-)

I don't think Bridget will be in bed when I fall asleep. My hubby will see to that. I just thought, especially while she was little and young....It would be nice to cuddle, before putting her in her crate. We have a busy house when the kids aren't in school. It will be nice to enjoy some real down time with her. I had a dream that we met last night. LOL After writing back and forth before bed, you stayed on my mind I guess :)

Nah...I don't think that is crazy at all! ;-) Dogs usually won't potty where they sleep, but I suppose if you fell asleep she could go to the end of the bed and potty and then come back and snuggle. That is where the diapers would come in handy. The thing I would worry about (and the reason why I am having a crate next to my bed) is when puppies are teething they will chew on anything. So if you are sleeping, she could potentially eat some bedding and then require a trip to the ER vet for stomach surgery. Not to scare you, but I remember the things Haus ate as a puppy...drywall, electrical cords, carpet... They will seriously eat anything, and from what I hear, Doods are particularly prone to chew stuff. I will for sure have Louie up in bed with me when I am awake, but when I fall asleep I am going to put him in the crate next to my bed for his safety. I know it will be hard to keep him there if he cries, but I am trying to remember big picture here! Your container idea is not crazy either. Haus used to have a ton of containers and he would go fish toys out of them. The key is teaching them to put their toys back... ;-)

I am bad at the buying part too. My husband said that this is becoming as expensive as a child...lol I am looking for a sturdy container, to put dog toys in. Something she can fish things out of herself. Don't laugh...I mean it....I recently told my husband I wish they sold "doggie diapers" The first week ,I kind of want to cuddle with her for a couple of hours every night, after my kids go to bed, and I go to bed to watch T.V. I told him that I would be too afraid that she would piddle in bed, and there i am changing a king size bed at 11p.m. ALERT!!!!! They DO make doggie diapers! I saw them, accidentally, in the pet isle in Walmart. Yes...I know you are dying to hear what I did....What do you think? I bought a pkg. My husband was laughing. They are ADORABLE. They come inassorted sizes and a hole for the tail. These are only to wear to hang in bed though...Not to wear around the house...LOL...Unless I go nuts with the housebreaking...LOL I think I might be just a tad...crazy. I just picture cuddling up as I watch T.V. before bed.

Um, okay, please come to WI and get my house all set. I need some of your organization skills! My living room is full of dog toys everywhere! And I keep buying stuff incessantly! Bad Kate. I just posted a video. :-)
