About Me:

I am a happily married mother of 2 teens who works part time as an NICU nurse. We enjoy camping and biking, and traveling whenever we get the chance. I recently lost my beloved 11 year old golden named Max, who was also my walking and gardening buddy.

Luxie is an F1 goldendoodle from Almond Blossom's Estee and Micah litter.She is a sweet, funny girl that loves to play and snuggle.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I adored everything about my golden retriever, but thought it would be good to have our next dog be a different breed, so as not to compare the new dog to our Max. A goldendoodle has the benefits of a golden retriever, and yet have it's own fun personality. Once I saw one, I couldn't resist the cute Teddy Bear face.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

I love spending time walking and training Luxie, and have her "help" me in the garden. She loves to play in the water from the hose, and is learning to swim. We're in round 2 of obedience training, and I plan to start her in agility for fun.
