About Me:: Happily married, mother of 10 yr old daughter. Work full time, but am able to bring our pup to work. We're homebodies ! Also have 2 cats and a horse.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Krimmi is a 3 year old Aussiedoodle. He is quite the character. We had a German Shepherd and a Border Collie/whippet??? cross. They were so much easier than this little rascal or after 15 years have just forgotten how much work pups are. Krimmi is a biter and very active. He is good in the house but as soon as someone even attempts to play with him he gets very mouthy. We have come along way already and although I was ready to give up a couple of times, the bugger is starting to grow on me and he is also getting much better. He is super smart which gives me hope that we will eventually be best buds.lol....UPDATE... we are now best BUDS!!!

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: after having a German Shepherd who shed constantly and was extremely large, we were looking for a bit smaller dog that didn't shed or at least shed less.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Jenn at Roxy Dog Grooming

I have looked at photos of Krimmy & Molly looks so much like her when she has her winter cut - especially now that her hair is turning more silver. We live in Guelph. Do you ever get up here? We occasionally get to Hamilton - which part of Hamilton do you live in? Would love to get together some time & have Krimmy & Molly meet. Do you know of any other Burhart doodles in our part of the province? My iPod battery is getting very low. I will send you some pics tomorrow & hope to see more pics of Krimmy. I have been in touch with Tori's mom.

Tori's doing well... well right now we're on watch for 3 partial fingers to my son's batting glove to pass.... HUH! Of course... I just mentioned how she doesn't eat anything any more.... but she's good. I am sure they both have similar personalities too. Still barking and freaking out when guests come and go. Thank goodness she's fine while they are here... We just got hit with about 20 inches of snow and had the day off today, so that was great! Hope all is well there! Happy new year! At 1:19pm on September 29, 2009, Diane said…: It is a roller coaster ride. I brought Ringo to a dog park yesterday to wear him out a bit before last night's obedience class. Well that didn't work out. All the dogs were adults who didn't want to play like a puppy and Ringo plopped down in a huge muddy spot. He was just caked with thick mud. I hosed him off there, then outside at our house, then gave him a real bath....and he was still full of energy!! Oh well, today went a lot better. We stuck with a heeled walk around the neighborhood (and didn't run into any distractions ;o) )
