About Me:: I am an aspiring writer and my muse is my 3 year old doodle, Gus. Since he joined our lives he has been the source of inspiration for me, motivating me to write about our adventures, and about life in general. What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a 3 1/2 year old chocolate labradoodle named Gus. He is unusual looking, with tan legs and red highlights, and a white rear end. People often stop us and remark on his sweet nature and human-like expressive quality. He is the love of our lives.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We were drawn to the nature of these dogs,and to their intelligence, loyalty, and playful nature. We were also hoping for a non-shedding dog, but that part didn't work out!

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Doodles teach us about our own lives

Who would think that an 82 pound chocolate labradoodle could be the inspiration for reflections on life? I have been the proud mom to Gus, for over three years. During this time he has taught me so much about myself, and about life in general. I love the way he approaches the world around him, and I love his loyal, lovable and sweet nature.
