What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Bernedoodle Butz
born on 29.11.2010 as number 10

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We did not choose, actually. We got a 2 yrs Bernese Mountaindog Dina from a dog foster family kind of thing. Suprisingly it turned out that she was pregnant. On the dog shelter they were breeding Golden Doodle and once the pupps were there it was obvious that the Poodle male was involved. In the end, due to discussions with the shelter place, I did a DNA for mixed breeds and it turned out to be 50% Bernese and 50% Poodle. Dina got 11 pups of which #11 did not make it. 9 pups were given into wonderful families, all with house and garden and Number 10 we kept. We named him Butz. Butz was the smallest and weakest in the beginning and has turned out to be such a healthy lovely dog.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Walking forests and lakes, dog school, playing in the garden and just taking them everywhere possible with us! And cuddle of course.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I am doing the nose every now and then. Full cut is done regularly by a professional.
