Hi Deborah, welcome to DK!! I noticed that you used the IM feature today on DK and didn't get a response. That feature isn't commonly used on DK with the exception of Friday night Yappy Hour which starts at 8 o'clock Eastern time. You will get the best response to your questions by posting a discussion on the main forum (front page) or in one of the groups. The puppy group would probably be a good place to start!

This is a great place to share about doodles. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups by area, for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy! At the top of the page under HELP there is a guide to choosing a breeder. Also there are groups started by people who share a breeder. Also there is a group called owner recommended breeders. Plus join any group and read away. You need to learn about generations and shedding (some doodles DO shed), sizes etc. and grooming. Many doodles are high maintenance as to coats, especially if they don't shed.
